This head chopper absolutely wreaks of pure, unadulterated comedy! A pure gem to any magician who performs comedy with his or her magic!

Introduce the trick by saying how you have always wanted to do a big illusion, but with illusions you always need a helper. When person is on stage, continue by saying how the other problem is that illusions are so expensive you can't afford them so you thought you'd have a go at making your own!

It looks as if a six year-old put it together! As the performer pushes the prop to center stage, one of its legs breaks off and causes the entire prop to lean to the side. The audience then begins to fall apart in laughter as the performer fixes the leg.

Bringing a spectator onstage to help only increases the laughter as the performer explains what the prop does. Raising the saw, the performer explains that the spectator is to place his head into the center of the prop as the blade comes down. Not to worry, however, as the spectator's head is completely safe due to the "Zone of Invincibility." Before the spectator places his head into the "Zone of Invincibility," the performer allows the blade to drop with a loud BANG! As soon as the blade drops, a wooden slab of wood swings off the chopper revealing the words "Watch Your Head." More laughter from your audience, and you haven't even begun to perform the effect yet!

The performer coaxes the spectator to place his head into the "Zone of Invincibility" and asks him to hold onto the handles on the side of the prop's legs - the handles come away in the spectators hands! This thing is really falling apart at the seams! The performer races for a small waste basket and places it in front of the spectator. "Just in case..." he explains.

Without warning the saw blade comes down with an awful bang! The performer, keeping his eyes shut tightly, waits for the crowd to calm down before reassuring them all, including the spectator, that he is safe. And indeed he is...

Put a real can of pop or beer inside, as it just fits inside tightly.

Show two solid steel 8 x 5 inch blades hitting them together, they are solid!

Insert a blade through one side of the box and out the opposite side.

Now push the second blade through the hole below.
