A volunteer from the audience is shown the board with the six cards inserted behind the elastics. The performer removes three of the symbol cards, fairly showing the board.

The performer closes the board, and then permits the spectator to remove the three remaining cards.

The performer then replaces the cards he/she has removed into the closed board. The spectator is then asked to mix their cards face down and hand them back to the performer face down, one by one, telling the performer which spot on the board to put them (left, middle, or right).

Once the cards are all placed on the board, the performer reveals that the spectator's cards match his/her cards exactly. The performer has predicted with 100% accuracy the location of all three of the spectator's cards!

Effect: Performer explains the mysteries of crystal gazing and offers to demonstrate that anyone can gaze into the crystal and see images etc.

A spectator selects a card and keeping its identity secret, it is signed and lost in the deck. The performer hands the pack to the spectator to hold whilst attention is drawn to a wooden stand on a table. The stand holds two plates of Plexiglas, which are handed out for examination and the performer explains that they represent the crystal. The Plexiglas is slotted back into the stand and two clips are attached clamping the two plates together.

The performer explains that when a seer looks into the crystal a mist would form and when the mist cleared a vision would appear before them. He asks that everyone gaze into the ‘crystal’ and that they try to determine the name of the chosen card.

The cards are now sprayed towards the stand, representing the mist, and when the mist clears one playing card, with its back to the audience, is seen attached to the Plexiglas.

The performer asking if anyone is picking up any images removes the Plexiglas from the stand and demonstrates that the card is actually trapped inside the ‘crystal ’, sandwiched between the two plates, and turns the plates round to show that the card is in fact the spectators signed card.

The clips are removed, the plates are separated and the card handed to the spectator to keep as a souvenir.

Show three different newspapers face down on the table. The first spectator freely selects any newspaper. There is no force of any kind! He has a free choice of any one of the three newspapers.

Tear the front page of the freely chosen paper is into fourths. The spectator chooses a piece and is given the chance to change his mind. Pin the selected quarter to an 11 x 17 inch cork board.

Now introduce a deck of jumbo cards, shuffle the deck and show it to be quite normal. Have a card is selected from this deck.

Show spectator three a clear bag containing over 40 crayons. Crayons are both long and short styles. He is invited to reach into the bag and grab any crayon. This crayon is given to the 2nd spectator who draws a picture of his card on the newspaper pinned to the board.

Climax: Ask the person holding the envelope to open it and remove what is inside and hand it to you. It is a folded sheet of newspaper. The envelope is torn open showing nothing else inside! When the paper is unfolded, it is seen to be the exact newspaper that was freely selected. Not only that, but the quarter section of the paper is identical to the one pinned to board!

On the paper is a drawing of the selected card. If that isn't enough, your prediction is in the same color as the chosen crayon. A perfect 3 way match!

You display a leather gypsy envelope and a beautiful old gypsy fortune telling deck. Each card has a fortune printed right on its face. You ask your "client" to utter the name of a special someone to create a relaxed fortune telling atmosphere. Let's say her special name is "Rose."

You then do a short three card reading for your client. The first card predicts good luck. The second card indicates an impending mystery.
