Brainwave is a classic plot in magic and ordinarily, you'd need to carry an entire speciality deck of cards to make it work. In Michael's version, not only is the deck normal but there is an extra kicker ending where he can display their selection as having the only odd colour back in the deck but then also pull their selection out from his pocket or wallet.
