This is a great little trick to carry around in your pocket! From your pocket you remove a matchbox and a toothpick. You proceed to push the toothpick through the matchbox. The toothpick is pulled out the other side. Your spectators do not seem too impressed, so you hand them the box. When your spectator takes a look inside they will see that the whole draw contains a solid brass block, which would have made it impossible for the toothpick to penetrate! Comes ready to go no switch or ditching, self-working only
