Merging two classic plots with a clever twist in the middle, this routine packs an incredible amount of magic into a single effect. First, Christopher removes the four Kings and places them beneath the card box on the table. Three spectators then each select and sign a card. Next, half the deck is shuffled face up into face down, and the three signed selections are lost in the mixed deck. Without going anywhere near the Kings, Christopher removes them from beneath the card box and spreads them to reveal three face-down cards trapped between them. When those cards are turned over, they prove to be the three signed selections. The Kings are then turned face up and are revealed to have transformed into the Aces. As a final kicker, the face-up/face-down deck is shown to have impossibly righted itself, when spread, every card is facing the same way.
