If you have ever wanted to present a Pendulum routine in a convincing way that will leave a lasting impact on your audience, this is the effect for you! Docc has each spectator write a name down on some cards before they are mixed and each one torn. A piece of one of them is placed into the Pendulum and each spectator takes it in turn to control the Pendulum. Eventually, they reduce the cards down to just a few. Although the performer hasn't seen the names, he reveals the name of the person the spectator who holds the pendulum is thinking. Finally, the piece placed inside the Pendulum is taken out and shown that it matches with the pieces on the table!
