ABOUT FOUR CARD TRICK

Alex Elmsley is best known for his wonderful sleight ‘The Elmsley Count’ and ‘Four Card Trick’ is one of the finest examples of the sheer amount of milage you can get from this wonderful move. In this routine, only 4 cards are used. They are shown to have the same back but one is different one the face. When the spectator thinks they are following the odd card, somehow they are shown to be wrong. Then, the odd card is placed face up amongst the remaining faced down cards. Magically the odd card turns into one of the other cards! Finally, it is shown to now have a different coloured back! This is a wonderful effect that can be played as a mystery or even as a Monte style effect.
