Hedge your bets! it’s time for an impossible scam! Under the fairest conditions, a card is freely selected. The rules are simple: if the participant’s card matches the one sealed inside the performer’s wallet, the participant loses. If it doesn’t match, the spectator wins. Matthew removes his wallet and reveals a £20 note inside, with a single playing card resting face down upon it. When the card is turned over, the impossible happens, it matches the selected card exactly. The wager is lost, and Matthew walks away with the money.
