ABOUT MICHAEL AMMAR

Michael is a renowned American close-up magician celebrated for his exceptional sleight-of-hand skills and influential teaching methods. Often referred to as "the magician’s magician," Ammar has significantly impacted the art of magic through his performances, lectures, and publications.

In 1982, Ammar gained international acclaim by winning the Gold Medal in Close-Up Magic at the FISM world championship competition in Lausanne, Switzerland. Throughout the 1980s and beyond, Ammar became a familiar face on television, appearing on programs such as "The Tonight Show" and "Late Night with David Letterman." He also performed at prestigious venues like the Magic Castle in Hollywood and was the inaugural featured performer at Caesars Palace's "Caesars Magical Empire.”

He has authored several influential books, including "The Magic of Michael Ammar," which offers detailed explanations of his routines and philosophies and his instructional video series, such as "Easy to Master Card Miracles," has educated countless aspiring magicians.

Ammar is also known for popularising the Topit, and his teachings on it are considered to be the best available.
