The wait is over… The Alakazam Magic Convention is BACK!

Following the incredible success of our very first convention, we are thrilled to officially announce The Alakazam Magic Convention 2027, returning to The Ashford Cinema on the 8th of May 2027 for what promises to be an even bigger, better and more unforgettable experience!

Our goal has always been simple,  to create one of the friendliest, most exciting and most memorable magic conventions in the UK. In 2026 we welcomed magicians from all over the world to an unforgettable day of lectures, sessioning, dealers, jam sessions and an incredible evening show… and in 2027 we plan to make it even bigger and better.

The feedback from attendees in 2026 absolutely blew us away. From the amazing atmosphere and world class lectures to the jam sessions, dealers and gala show, the AlakaFam made the event truly special. Due to popular demand and attendee feedback, we are introducing more ticket options for 2027 to give everyone the perfect convention experience.

Planning to Stay Over?

The Ashford Cinema is just a 10-minute walk from Ashford International train station (only 37 minutes from London St Pancras! Great if your traveling over on the EuroStar).

There are two great hotels just a short stroll from the convention venue making your trip easy and stress-free.

Plus, we’re just minutes away from the Ashford Designer Outlet, in case you fancy a bit of shopping while you're here!

If you’re thinking of making the trip over from Europe—you’re in luck! The Alakazam Convention is in a perfectly connected location:

Driving from Dover?
We’re just a 20-minute drive from the Port of Dover, so coming over via the Channel Tunnel or ferry is a breeze.

Taking the Eurostar?
Perfect! Simply hop on a Eurostar to London St Pancras, then take a direct high-speed train to Ashford International. From there, it's just a 10-minute walk to the venue!

Flying in for the Alakazam Convention? Here’s How to Get Here!

We’ve had a few emails overnight asking how to get to the convention from Heathrow Airport—and the good news is, it’s really simple!

If you’re planning to fly over and join us (which we’d love!), here’s what to do:

Step 1: Jump on the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow to Stratford Station
Step 2: From Stratford, hop on a high-speed train to Ashford International
Step 3: From there, it’s just a 10-minute walk to the convention venue!

Super easy and you’ll be with us in no time, ready to enjoy a full day of magic, learning, and fun.
