Bermuda Triangle by Quique Marduk

This effect was created by Bob Friedhoffer and published in "Invocation" magazine in 1975. Bob is an amateur magician but a scientist by profession. I had the opportunity to meet him personally 20 years ago and was fortunate enough to receive his permission to market his effect.

Effect: The magician speaks about the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle, a triangular area located between Fort Lauderdale in the Florida peninsula, Puerto Rico, and the Bermuda Islands.

After recounting a story about missing planes and ships, the illusionist decides to conduct a sort of "laboratory" experiment to confirm its veracity.

With a small piece of paper, he makes a tiny boat and places it in a container of salt water, covering it with another container, all very visible and neatly arranged.

After a few seconds, the magician uncovers them and shows that the boat has disappeared by transferring the water from one container to the other. Finally, the boat reappears and transforms into sand.
