Instead of a novel or dictionary, your spectator is handed something completely different and instantly familiar: a word-search magazine.
Inside the hands of a mentalist, however, it becomes an incredibly powerful multi-phase mind-reading tool capable of revealing far more than just a single thought-of word.
THE EFFECT:
Hand the word-search magazine to your spectator.
They open it to any page, look at the grid and freely think of one of the words they see.
Nothing is said out loud.
